First Steps to take on Empire Avenue
The first steps you take in setting up your Empire Avenue account are not difficult, but important to creating a good impression with your audience, prospective buyers of your stock.
1. Create and upload an image.
Experienced buyers look at new players profiles to get a feel for the amount of effort a newbie may put into their Empire Avenue account. One of the most obvious tell-tale signs someone is not going to put much effort into growing their account is a lack if image. Failure to add an image conveys lack of effort and a lack of seriousness on the part of the newbie. I for one almost NEVER buy a player that does not have their image or brand.
2. Connect your networks.
Connect your social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube, etc... A good portion of your Empire Avenue score is based upon your network activities. Buyers look for accounts with a high level of connected networks.
3. Monitor your "shareholders" and buy back. As you gain new shareholders, buy back their shares. Experienced players know newbies cannot buy shares back in volume, but they do appreciate buy-backs, even in token amounts. Some experienced buyers will sell a newbie if they don't buy back shares within a reasonable period, say two or three weeks.
